Are You Wearing Drousers Yet?
Drousers (dresses + trousers) sound like the kind of genius styling trick that someone with more dash than cash came up with, and we wholeheartedly approve.
The Resort 2017 collections at Jill Stuart, Osman, Suno and Tibi echoed the look. More recently, we saw plenty of street style stars work the look at London Fashion Week, and that’s really when you know it’s got the steam to stay.
Givenchy, Elie Saab and Valentino showed us we can totally wear this look to a party. We also dig Agyness Deyn’s take on this. (Employ dark denims by night, to recreate the look.)
If you can play with volume – flared dress, cigarette pants – it’s a definite winner. But we have reason to believe wide leg trousers work just the same. Look to Suno or Tibi for inspiration, and don’t vanish under swathes of cloth – team your pants with shorter hemlines.

Belts are always a good way to pull the look together.
Piling on layers? Work with tonal contrasts.
Floaty, floral maxi dresses are always a charm. Oh, and slip dresses of course. We’re sold on its instant cool-girl appeal.
